My role in developing this platform

I coordinated the project, prototyped the wiki, tested wiki features and extensions, developed the theme, developed the governance model, and led public-facing communications about the project.

I coordinated a multi-year project to develop a new Ubuntu wiki, bringing it all the way from conception to a (planned) launch in August/September 2026.

The new platform replaces an older wiki that is over 20 years old.

The scope of the project required collaboration with multiple teams across the organization, including Platforms, Infrastructure, Brand, Support, and Documentation, but also the wider Ubuntu community.

In collaboration with community leaders, I led the development of a governance model for the wiki and regularly updated the community about the project in public-facing blogs.

On the implementation side, I contributed to information architecture, theme design, and seed content.
